Working with students her entire life
Mignonne E.M. Snipes was the loving daughter of the Rev. Johnnie Snipes, III, and the Rev. Dr. Gloria M. Snipes. Mignonne was a 1986 graduate of Dover High School. While at Dover High School, Mignonne was a member of the chorus, JROTC, and Student Council. Mignonne also worked throughout her community. Mignonne was a very proud graduate of Tuskegee University, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Pre-law. While at Tuskegee, Mignonne served as president of the University Choir, president of the Pre-Law Society; vice-president of the Coalition of 100 Black Women; Co-Founder of the First Collegiate Chapter of National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW Tuskegee University College Division). Mignonne was also a member of the Student Government Association, Student Judicial Advisor and Chief of Staff.
Rev. Mignonne received her Master of Divinity degree from Hood Theological Seminary. Mignonne received a Certificate in Church Administration from Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Ga. Mignonne also served as a Professor of Religious Studies at Livingstone College.
