MEMS Memorial Scholarship Announces 2018 - 2019 Scholarship Awards to Four Dover High School Graduating Seniors
[The late Reverend Mignonne E.M. Snipes is memorialized through a scholarship to fund higher education.]

For Immediate Release - DELAWARE, JUNE 3, 2019 -- The MEMS Memorial Scholarship fund of Dover
awarded the Rev. Mignonne E.M. Snipes Memorial Leadership Scholarship to four graduating seniors from Dover High School.

The Rev. Mignonne E.M. Snipes Memorial Leadership Scholarship Fund (MEMS) in association with ICG Enterprises, Inc. was established in honor of Mignonne E.M. Snipes, BS, MDiv, a 1986 graduate of Dover High School who displayed exceptional school spirit and leadership. The M.E.M.S Memorial Leadership Scholarship provides a one-time scholarship in the amount of $500- $1000 to graduating Dover High School seniors who plan to pursue a four-year degree at an accredited college or university and have demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedicated community service, and/or advocacy. She passed away on February 15, 2011.
On June 3, 2019, the students were honored for their achievements at the Dover High School Annual Senior Award Night. This is the second year of the MEMS award.
The MEMS Memorial Scholarship Fund of Dover was established by ICG Enterprises, Inc., President and CEO Iris C. Gibbs, MD. ICG Enterprises, Inc. is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering leaders and serving the marginalized and undeserved.
